Room Rentals
The Village has five meeting rooms that are available for rent to other non-profit organizations. The rate for these rooms is $15 per hour. The rooms available are as follows:
The Frank & Ellen Remai Board Room (#101)
Located on the first floor of the Village, this room seats 12 to 15 people and is equipped with one large board room table. Other amenities in this room include wireless internet, phone connection, whiteboard and credenza for serving food and drinks. This room is available for rent during the day and evening.
Located on the second floor, the softroom is designed for more casual and informal meetings. This room seats eight to ten people. Furnished by Dervilla Designs Ltd., this room is equipped with two couches, four rolling chairs, a lounger, and round table. Other amenities include a wireless internet connection and phone connection. No food is permitted in this meeting space. This room is available for rent during the day and evening.
The Village Lounge is furnished by Saskatoon Travelodge, Saskatoon Countrywide Furniture Appliances, Buy-Rite Furniture Factory Outlet and Fandango Lighthouse. It is located on the second floor and is next door to the kitchen. This room seats 20 people and is equipped with a large pull-down screen, whiteboard and small deck access. This room is equipped with wireless internet and a telephone connection. This room is available for rent during the day and evening.
The Village kitchen, sponsored by Canadian Tire, is on the second floor, adjacent to the Village Lounge. This kitchen is fully equipped including oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. The kitchen is also complete with dishware and has a gate that opens into the Lounge ideal for cooking demonstrations or serving food for meetings taking place in the Lounge.
The Mámawópiwin (meaning ”Let’s sit together”) room, sponsored by the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, is located near the elevator on the second floor. The Mámawópiwin room is equipped with a large pull down screen, four tables, two credenzas and seating for 25 people. This room is also equipped with whiteboards, cork boards, wireless internet and a telephone connection. This room is available for rent during the day and evening.
The Third Floor Board Room, furnished by Heritage Mortgage Group Ltd., is equipped with three six-foot tables and seating for 20 people. This room is also equipped with a large pull down screen, whiteboard, flip chart and a credenza for serving food. Other amenities include wireless internet and telephone connection. This room is available for rent during the day and evening.
