On June 3rd staff, volunteers and friends of the Village gathered to celebrate its 9th Anniversary.  Marcia Clark,  Vice President of the Village Board of Directors, spoke of both the growth of the Village and the foundation from which it began.  Marcia announced the 9th Honourary Village Citizen, Dennis Chubb.  Dennis has been involved with the Village since its inception and continues to be involved in a variety of capacites.  Rowena McLellan was honoured as this year's Village Community Builder.  Rowena has been a volunteer at the Saskatoon Council on Aging since 1998.  Currently Rowena volunteers for the Council's Century Club Committee, helping to organize events for seniors who have reached the age of ninety.  Congratulations Dennis and Rowena!
